EVENT: Feb. 6, Tues.--"Health Care Management in Central America: Challenges in 2007," 8am, Cambridge
New England Latin American Business Council presents this breakfast panel in conjunction with the visit to Boston of the Ministers of Health and dignitaries from Costa Rica, El Savador, Guatemala and Panama. These Ministers and Directors will discuss the challenges presented by the health systems of these Central American countries. EVENT: Feb. 11, Sun.--Swedish-American X-C Ski Race, 8:30am, Weston
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce presents this annual cross-county ski race, which goes on regardless of weather and features machine snow if necessary. The 5-mile race is for all levels of skill and is a Nordic tradition. Cost is $30 SACCNE members, $35 non- members; children are $10 except those under 6 are free. To register, email Niklas Jordow.

EVENT: Feb. 13, Tues.--"An Insider's View of the Canadian Political Outlook," 11:30am, Boston
The New England-Canada Business Council invites members and guests to attend this luncheon featuring William Pristanski, Principal, Prospectus Associates. Mr. Pristanski is one of Canada's most experienced public affairs strategists and advises a number of North American companies on building positive relationships with Canadian governments. He has also held several senior positions in the Government of Canada. Event is at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, 138 St. James Ave., Boston, from 11:30am to 1:45pm.
