MASS. EXPORT CENTER SEMINARS: Oct., Nov. & Dec.--Your Company May be Eligible for Workforce Training Grants

The Massachusetts Export Center had just been named an Approved Vendor for the Workforce Training Fund. This is great news for Mass. businesses! Companies may be eligible for grants to attend Mass. Export Center's upcoming training programs. The Workforce Training Fund Express Program offers matching grants to Massachusetts employers to train current and newly- hired employees. Businesses with 50 or fewer employees in Massachusetts - including all plants and branches - may apply. Grant decisions are made within 21 days of filing the application and qualifying businesses will be reimbursed 50% of the total cost of training after the training is completed. EVENT: Sept. 25, Tues.--"EU Luncheon with Tim Murray, Mass. Lt. Governor," 11:30am, Boston

The French-American Chamber of Commerce, the German American and British- American Business Councils and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce & Trade extend an invitation to an EU luncheon event at the University of Massachusetts Club, 225 Franklin St. 33d Floor, Boston, from 11:30am-1:30pm. The Lt. Govr. will discuss ways to improve cooperative opportunities between European and Massachusetts firms. Cost is $65 for members, $75 for non-members.
