SEMINAR: Wed. Oct. 21 - “Festive Articles Classification Seminar,” 8:30am, Milton CONECT (Coalition of New England Companies for Trade) and the Boston Brokers Association are sponsoring this half-day event, featuring Arthur Bokek and David Murphy of Grunfeld, Desiderio, and Bob Kenneally, CH Powell. OPEN HOUSE: Wed. Oct. 21 - Export Open House at SouthCoast Business Expo, 1:15pm, Westport

EVENT: Fri. Oct. 23 - UN Day Luncheon with Canadian Ambassador John McNee, 12:30pm, Boston
The UN Association of Greater Boston presents this annual event featuring a keynote address by John McNee, Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations. This event marks the day in 1946 when the UN Charter went into effect. The annual event gathers policy-making, business, community, and academic leaders to engage in a dialogue about world affairs. EVENT: Mon. Oct. 26 - “Building European-American Biotech Ventures, 6pm, Boston
The French-American Chamber of Commerce-New England and the Development Agency of Lyon present this workshop that describes the key benefits that make Lyon, France a global hub for US biotech companies (Genzyme, Charles River, Tyco, J&J etc.) in Europe.
