SEMINAR
SERIES: Nov. 17, Fri. & Dec. 1, 8 & 15--Certified Global
Business Professional Series, Worcester
The
Mass. Export Center presents the Certified Global Business
Professional (CGBP) seminar series for individuals interested in
preparing for the Feb. 2007 CGBP exam. This series includes
practical, real world information on all aspects of international
business. The CGBP credential enables businesspeople to use a
special CGBP designation, logo and watermark to identify the
individual as proficient in global commerce. Courses are offered at
Worcester State College's Student Center N/S Auditorium, Worcester.
Cost is $500 for the entire series or $125 per individual session.

INTERNATIONAL SALES & MARKETING is the title of the Friday,
Nov. 17 session. Global risk assessment, international market
research, overseas market evaluation and selection, methods of

Commerce, Mass. Export Center and Arthrosurface.

FESTIVAL: Nov. 17-19, Fri.-Sun.--UN Association International
Documentary Film Series, Cambridge & Boston
The UN Association of Greater Boston presents Global Voices, a
series of films showing at Cambridge College on 11/17 at 7pm,
Harvard's Kennedy School and Northeastern's Behrakis Center on 11/18
and Boston University's Photonics Center 11/19. Twenty- one films
will be shown; each film session is two hours. For further

Nov. 29, Wed.--"Oil, Politics & Environment in
Nigeria", Noon, Springfield
The
World Affairs Council of Western Mass. presents a brown-bag lunch
with Dr. Adeyinka Banwo, Resident Fellow of the Five Colleges
African Scholars Program at UMass Amherst and Professor of History
at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. Dr. Banwo will speak on the
human dimensions of oil production and the crises among the Nigerian
government, oil corporations and the oil producing communities.

structure sales and support functions while considering trade-offs
