Dept. of Commerce Trade Mission to India--November 29-December 5,
2006
The
U.S. Department of Commerce encourages U.S. companies to sign up for
a Business Development Mission to India in late Fall 2006.
Undersecretary for International Trade Frank Lavin will lead the
mission. India is the world's fastest-growing free-market democracy
and represents lucrative opportunities for many types of businesses
in the U.S. This mission includes a 2-day summit in Mumbai, followed
by one of six spin-off matchmaking missions to Bangalore, Kolkata,
Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, or New Delhi. The U.S. Commercial
Service will arrange market briefings and one-on-one businesss

"CeBIT"
TRADE SHOW--March 15-21, 2007, Hannover, Germany
CeBIT is the world's largest information technology trade show
and attracts a half-million visitors each year. More than 6000
exhibitors from 60 countries will be represented. The Mass. Office
of International Trade and Investment (MOITI) will coordinate
companies' participation in CeBIT at a very competitive price. Space
is limited, and applications are accepted in the order in which they

"LASER"
TRADE SHOW--June 18-21, 2007, Munich, Germany
The LASER trade show, held every two years, features
innovative optical technologies such as laser and optronics
products, optics, sensors, test and optical measurement systems,
imaging and illumination. Nearly 23,000 visitors are expected to
visit the 950 exhibitors at the show. The Mass. Office of
International Trade and Investment (MOITI) is coordinating the
Massachusetts Pavilion at this event. Early Bird pricing ends August

e-mail subscription service that offers U.S. companies, citizens and
organizations an opportunity to review and comment on proposed
foreign technical regulations that can affect their businesses and
their access to international markets. This service is managed by
the National Center for Standards and Certification Information (NCSCI),
within the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST),
which is part of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.
