Bradley A. MacDougall joined AIM in
2007 and serves as Associate Vice President for Government Affairs for
Associated Industries of Massachusetts – the state’s largest
nonprofit, nonpartisan association of Massachusetts’
employers. With more than 7,000 members who employ nearly one out
of every five workers in Massachusetts, AIM’s mission is to
promote the well-being of its members and the prosperity of the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts by improving the economic climate,
proactively advocating fair and equitable public policy, and providing
relevant, reliable information and excellent services.
As Associate Vice President, Mr. MacDougall advocates on
behalf of the organization’s 7,000 member companies. Mr.
MacDougall advocates on Beacon Hill for AIM's legislative agenda and
manages issues of general interest to the employer community regarding
both the legislative and regulatory arenas.
Prior to joining AIM, Mr. MacDougall served as a
Congressional Aide to Congressman Martin T. Meehan, where he worked
closely with local, state and federal officials and community
organizations on a variety of economic development initiatives, in
addition to responding to constituent requests for assistance and
services. Before his service in the Unites States House of
Representatives, he was the Director of Programs, Advocacy and
Development at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, the world’s
largest education, clinical and research facility. Mr. MacDougall also
worked as Project Manager for Chaloner Associates Inc. in Boston, a
national executive search firm for public relations, investor relations
and communications professionals.
Mr. MacDougall graduated from Assumption College with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Minor degrees in
Philosophy and Psychology. He is married and living in the Merrimack
Valley in addition to pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from
Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management.
