Join the AIM Executive Forum on March 12 as Senate President Therese Murray looks at the intersection of public policy and economic growth as Massachusetts emerges from the global downturn. Her remarks will touch on the state budget, controlling the cost of health insurance and streamlining the delivery of economic development services to employers.

Therese Murray became the first woman president of the Massachusetts Senate in March 2007. She has played a key role in steering the commonwealth through two years of fiscal crises brought on by the world financial downturn. Senate President Murray has advocated successfully for a range of transportation and other reforms designed to make government operate efficiently.
