Christopher P. Geehern is Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM), the largest employer association in the commonwealth.  He is responsible for communicating AIM's philosophy, objectives and activities to 6,500 member employers as well as to public officials and the overall business community in Massachusetts. Mr. Geehern's specific responsibilities include issue communications, branding, marketing and new-media initiatives. 

He also serves as clerk of the corporation. 

Mr. Geehern joined AIM in 1995 after serving as a business reporter and assistant business editor of The Springfield (Massachusetts) Republican. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and earned his high school diploma with high honors at The Philips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.

Mr. Geehern serves as a member of the Business Advisory Council of the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and as a trustee of the Willie Ross School for the Deaf in Longmeadow. He has previously served as a member of the Massachusetts Commission on Judicial Conduct and as a director of Westmass Area Development Corporation in Chicopee.
