John joined AIM in 1984 as a
consultant to the Information Technology Department and became the
manager of that department in 1987. During John’s tenure at AIM, he has worked with three
presidents: Walther Muther, John Gould
and the current president Rick Lord. In
those years information technology has changed dramatically
and John has managed the transition from mini computer systems
and applications to the currently used personal computer based
systems.
Prior to
joining AIM, John spent several years with Wang Laboratories as
a quality and software engineer at the corporate headquarters in
Lowell, Massachusetts. John is responsible for all areas of computerized information
management ranging from development, maintenance and applications
to training. John is a
graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His major in Adult Training and Development was integrated with
further training in the computer sciences.
Currently John
is supervising the integration of the membership management systems with
AIM’s evolving Web site.
