About AIM International Business Council

The AIM International Business Council (AIM-IBC) helps Massachusetts employers engage in international trade and expand their global business activities. Formerly known as the Mass. Alliance for International Business (MAIB), AIM-IBC collaborates with public and private organizations to provide technical assistance and educational services related to international trade. AIM-IBC is dedicated to enhancing the Commonwealth's leadership in the global economy and communicating the value that international business brings to the region's economic health. AIM-IBC is a program of Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM).

 


PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:

  • E-Newsletter: Keeping the international business community informed about events, trade missions, seminars, webinars, trade shows, and business resources.

  • Seminars, Roundtables, Speakers: Educating companies and individuals by providing expertise on emerging markets, trade regulations, and strategies for global expansion.

  • Global Trade Awards: Recognizing excellence in businesses demonstrating leadership in international trade.

  • Massachusetts Export Competitiveness Indicator: produced quarterly, to track export trends and report on growth markets by geography and by product.

  • Referrals: Connecting Massachusetts business people, firms, and the media with international trade experts, agencies, companies and consultants.

PARTICIPATION:

Any firm, organization, company or individual interested in international trade may participate in AIM-IBC programs and receive the e-newsletter.

GOVERNANCE:

A 20-member Board of Directors provides oversight for AIM-IBC policy and programs. Comprised of leaders in manufacturing, higher education, law, finance, services and government, the Board has members from across the state.
