Councils and Committees
AIM has a range of topical committees and councils that operate in
two ways:
-
They assist the professional staff in understanding the issues and
needs of members – to keep AIM’s advocacy and services
targeted.
-
They serve to keep interested members up to date about
legislative, regulatory or judicial actions – providing a common
knowledge base in specific topics.
Each committee has parameters for membership. The councils
generally are open to all members in good standing and
function often though emails and an occasional meeting on specific
topics. Each committee and council has a member of the staff who
functions as its staff director.
