Electric Company and Attorney General "Stipulation Agreement"

under the recently enacted Green Communities Act which allows utilities
to own solar facilities and recoup the cost from ratepayers. Since this
proposal was filed another utility has filed a similar
proposal.
Cost-Containment

environmental groups requesting an efficiency allocation of at least 25%
to contain the costs of cap and trade, keep American businesses
competitive, and lower energy bills for all consumers.
An
Act to Examine the Cost, Reliability and Economic Impact of
Electricity
Employers remain concerned that several laws
passed in the last session will impede the ability of consumers to buy
reasonably priced, reliable electricity. There is, in fact, concern that
current practices (i.e., relying too much on intermittent
power-generation resources) may actually destabilize the electric
system. AIM’s legislation creates a study commission to make
recommendations to the Legislature.

Proposed Stretch Energy Codes
AIM's comments on the proposed "Stretch" Energy Codes
An Act Relative to Eliminating the Duplication of the
Energy Efficiency Program
The bill coordinates energy efficiency budget filings currently made by
utilities to the Department of Public Utilities with the new Green
Communities Act. The current system results in duplication of effort and
unnecessary cost incurred by the utilities and others reviewing,
commenting and approving these plans.
