Employee Handbooks
AIM’s experienced human resource professionals ensure that
your handbook provides just the right amount of information for
employees and managers, and contains the elements critical for
compliance with state and federal employment laws. You choose the
level of service your organization needs.
Handbook Review:
Our approach includes:
-
Analysis of the content from employee, human resources and general
management perspectives
-
Analysis of compliance issues, structure and style, clarity and
consistency
-
Recommendations for additions, deletions
and modifications to all of the above
After the review, you will receive a notated document and a personal
telephone call from the reviewer to discuss his/her observations and
recommendations. We provide information and options — you
choose the solutions that best fit your organization.
Handbook Development
This service includes complete revision of a handbook or development
of a handbook from scratch. You receive the document in electronic
format so future updates can be made quickly and economically.
Typical Handbook Development Process:
-
An on-site meeting to gather information about current
policies and practices and desired content. This can
include a meeting with a representative group of managers and
supervisors to secure their input and all-important buy-in.
-
AIM professional develops the handbook document as
outlined from the on-site meeting, ensuring that appropriate compliance
features are included.
-
Draft is forwarded to you for review and revision.
-
Final document is prepared and
delivered.
The AIM Difference — Companies utilizing
these services benefit not only from the skills and expertise of the
individual assigned to their project, but from that of the entire AIM
staff. We’re here to answer questions and support you via
our HR Hotline service long after the project is completed.
