La prevenciôn del acoso sexual y la discriminaciôn (webinar)

(Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prevention)

Educating employees about harassment and discrimination is a very sound investment.  The time and resources required to fully respond to a single MCAD charge can be overwhelming.  The Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) is very clear in stating that an employer has two primary defenses against most discrimination and/or harassment charges:

   1. Well-written and well-communicated policies and procedures; and
   2. Evidence of effective training

This program defines the issues associated with Sexual Harassment and Discrimination.  In addition to reviewing the applicable state and federal laws, it offers very practical information about how harassment and discrimination can be avoided in the workplace.

Participants will learn:

  • Types of harassment and discrimination
  • Important definitions
  • How to recognize and avoid problem situations
  • Employee responsibilities

Program Content:

  • Discussion of Sexual Harassment Law
  • Real-world examples and scenarios
  • Inclusion and review of model harassment policy

Program Length:  90 minutes

Other Programs on Sexual Harassment:

AIM also offers an English language seminar for managers and supervisors, focusing on their unique responsibility under the law.
