Matos, Bugbee Join AIM Board of Directors

Carlos Matos, Chief Operating Officer at Conexion Inc. in Boston, and David Bugbee, Managing Director at Citizens Bank in Boston, have joined the Board of Directors of Associated Industries of Massachusetts.
 
Members of the statewide employer association elected Matos and Bugbee to the AIM board at the organization’s 2018 Annual Meeting on May 18 at the Westin Boston Waterfront.
 
Matos joined Conexion, a mentoring organization for mid-career Hispanic business professionals,
from State Street Corporation, where he served as Assistant Vice President in the Investment Management Services unit. In this position he assisted business partners with clients whose assets under management were upwards of $25 billion.
 
Matos holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Anselm College and has done Masters-level course work in Leadership at Northeastern University, as well as graduate course work in Reginal Economic and Social Development at UMass Lowell.
 
Bugbee joined Citizens in 1998 after a short stint at Rockland Trust Company. He manages the middle-market corporate banking business for Citizens in Massachusetts.
 
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and investments from Babson College and an MBA from Boston University.
