AIM Issues Team
The Employer Issues team at Associated Industries of Massachusetts brings decades of combined experience to work on behalf of employers.
John manages all government affairs functions for the organization, overseeing AIM’s activities in four principal areas: administrative and legislative advocacy, regulatory issues, litigation, and ballot initiatives. Before joining AIM, John served as Executive Vice President for Operations at MassDevelopment, the state’s economic development agency, where he interacted with many AIM members on specific projects.
Bob represents the interests of employers on environmental, energy, chemical and product legislation, as well as regulation and ballot questions. He has appeared on behalf of AIM in front of the Department of Public Utilities, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Department of Public Safety. Bob holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University, a Master’s Degree from Northeastern University and a law degree from Suffolk University.
Katie's focus is workforce development and education, as well as health care. Before joining AIM, Katie spent 7 years in the office of the Massachusetts House Minority Leader and 3 years in the office of the House Ways and Means Committee, gaining particular experience in workforce and economic development issues. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and a master’s degree from Boston College.
Brad leads AIM’s taxation and employment law public policy practice. A former Congressional aide, he advises senior executives on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues such as intellectual property and trade secrets, regulatory reform, the state budget and economic development.
