As our military reshapes and retools over the next several years, more than one million highly-trained service members will leave the military for jobs in the private sector. Transitioning service members bring critical skills to the workplace—IT capabilities, network security, project management, materials management, leadership, problem solving and more.

AIM is proud to be a sponsor of New England Tech Vets’ mission to facilitate the transition of veterans to civilian careers, reduce veteran unemployment, and provide America’s veteran workforce access to jobs in New England and beyond. We encourage our member companies to sign up and participate in this great initiative.

The NewEnglandTechVets.org Website allows employers across the local and national TechVets Networks, Monster.com and Military.com to post jobs that are then automatically shared locally and nationally (USTechVets.org), and are visible to veterans nationwide.

Powered by Monster.com's robust recruiting technology, employers have access to nearly one million resumes in the Networks’ Veteran Resume Database—the largest database of veteran candidates in the United States. For most companies, this would be an expensive or even cost prohibitive purchase via commercial job boards.

In addition, employers have access to these key resources:

  • Recruiter Support Tools – Proprietary tools that enable management of multiple resumes, side-by-side comparisons of candidates, sorting and rating candidates, sending letters to potential candidates, forwarding of resumes, and hiring cycle tracking.
  • Veteran Program Guidance – Tips, information, and resources on how to create and manage an effective veteran hiring program including information on sourcing, tax incentives, programs, and more.
  • Education and Wellness Program Assistance – Veteran employees of participating employers and their families will be supported by the wellness services of The Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program.

Being an AIM member will save you up to 33% on NE TechVets dues.
