The 2017 AIM Global Trade Symposium will be Wednesday, November 1 from 8-11am at Babson College’s Knight Auditorium in Wellesley, Mass.  Keynote speaker is Nariman Behravesh, Chief Economist at Massachusetts-based IHS Markit.  Mr. Behravesh is ranked as Top Forecaster by Bloomberg, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal.  He’s a featured speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos. 

 

The “Trade in the Trump Era” business panel on November 1 features Professor Ravi Ramamurti of Northeastern University’s School of Business as moderator; David Alward, Canada Consul General; Joe Preston, EVP Global at New Balance; Leslie Greis, Owner/Director at Kinefac in Worcester; and Emily Reichert, CEO, Greentown Labs, Somerville.

AIM’s Global Trade Awards will be presented on November 1 to 3-4 companies, organizations or individuals demonstrating strength and creativity in international business by growing sales internationally, entering new markets, developing a new process or product for an overseas market, investing in infrastructure, or creating jobs. More than 80 companies have been honored with AIM Global Trade Awards since 1996.
